What we collect, and what we don't.

AltaCode SARL (Société à responsabilité limitée, registered in Morocco) is the data controller for this website. You can reach us at hello@altacode.eu or on WhatsApp at +31 6 86 21 21 80.

We work with clients in the European Union, so where the GDPR applies to your data we handle it to that standard regardless of where we are established.

If you fill in the form, we receive your name, your email address, the company name if you give one, and the message you write. We use it for exactly one thing: to answer you.

When you press send, our server emails your request to hello@altacode.eu and sends a copy to your own address so you have a record of what you asked for. The message is not written to a database and this website stores nothing about you. It lives in our mailbox like any other email, and we keep business correspondence for as long as the enquiry or the resulting work is live, then delete it.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us about our services, and taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

None. We set no cookies, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss.

One small thing worth naming: if you close the WhatsApp prompt in the corner, your browser remembers that for the rest of the session using sessionStorage, so it does not reappear on every page. That is a single flag stored on your own device, it contains nothing about you, and it disappears when you close the tab.

The typefaces are served from our own server, not from Google Fonts, so your browser makes no request to Google and no IP address is shared with them.

If you click the WhatsApp button you leave this site for WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta under its own privacy policy. If you follow the LinkedIn link the same applies to LinkedIn. We have no control over those services and receive nothing from them.

If analytics is running on this site it is a cookieless, privacy-first tool that counts page views in aggregate and never builds a profile of you, follows you to other websites, or collects anything that identifies you personally. No personal data leaves the EU for this purpose.

Like every web server, our host records requests, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. These logs are kept briefly by the hosting provider and are not used to profile visitors or combined with anything you send us.

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our use of it. Because the only data we hold is the email you sent us, honouring a deletion request means deleting that correspondence, which we will do promptly.

Email hello@altacode.eu and we will handle it within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we respond, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
